I worked with Marie at the telephone company in Malden in the '70's. I was a young (20 something) supervisor. Marie was kind and gracious, with a wonderful sense of humor. I am very fortunate to have known Marie. My sympathy goes to her family.

I think Marie (Mrs. Hanley to me) might have been one of the original hockey moms. I left Emerald St in Edgeworth in 1968, but will always remember how kind Marie was to me. Kathleen, Frank and Mike, I'm sorry for your loss.

You don't realize how much time passes or how much we take for granted that we'll all be around forever until we lose someone so special. I was so sorry to hear about Marie. She was not only a special lady she was also one of my close friends at dialysis I will miss her funny sense of humor and fiestiness! My thoughts are with you and your family at this sorrowful time.
