Kia ora Kent and whanau. I am Rowena Kui nee Cuff, Coral and Rohan Cuffs daughter from Stratford. It is a very long time since we saw each other. I have very fond memories of Marie, Arthur and Ian and your grandparents Annie and Leonard were amazing when I was growing up. I was very sad to read that Marie has passed. Kent, Andrea and wider family. I was saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved mother and grandmother. I fondly remember Marie as being very gracious and kind, a true lady in every sense of the word. She has been such a big part of your lives and you will all miss her dearly. Marie was the most wonderful speech and drama teacher and it was a privilege to have been taught by her as a teenager. She loved literature and instilled this in her students. She will be missed by us all. Love to her whanau from us in Nelson.

RIP. I had the privilege of meeting Marie when she was resident at Malvina Major. She was an exceptional woman and a real lady. My sincere condolences, love and prayers for the family as you travel the road of grief. Jan Barna
