Marie E. Jorgensen, 69, of Wind Gap, formerly of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away, Tuesday, June 26, 2023 at her residence. She was the wife of Robert G. Jorgensen, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, November 11, 2022.
Born in Passaic, NJ, November 19, 1953, she was the daughter of Edward and Myra (Vanderburgh) Reil.
Marie was a graduate of Dover High School. She loved traveling to Disney World and while living in Hackettstown, she was known as “Mom” to all of her children’s friends.
In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by a daughter, Samantha Dolan and her husband Donny and two grandchildren, Noah and Josh.
She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas M. Jorgensen, who passed away, July 18, 2021.
Memorial services will be held July 16, 2023 at 1 PM at the Jorgensen's home, Wind Gap, PA. The Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, Pen Argyl is in charge of arrangements.

Marie was a very special person, who gave without looking for anything in return and continued to love, care and be there for those who needed her
Thank you Marie, for being there in 1971 when you were needed, and continuing to be there without thanks, giving all you could for as long as you could

My love, thoughts, prays and condolences to the family. I always enjoyed conversating with Marie when I came up to visit Douglas. Memories of her making me laugh and feel comfortable!
