Marie Levey

Marie Levey 78, of Decatur, passed away at 3:05 p.m., January 26, 2013 in Manor Care, Clinton. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua, IL. Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services. Marie was born August 5, 1934 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Charles and Esta (Perkins) Karr. She married Robert K. Levey on March 27, 1952. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1982. She was a retired Nurse from Vonderlieth Nursing Home. Surviving are her sons: Robert K. Levey III and his wife Pam of Decatur, James R. Levey of Decatur, Greg B. Levey of Niantic, and Steve S. Levey and his wife Ellen of Edwardsville, IL; brothers: Harold D. Karr and his wife Doris of Decatur; Charles Karr and his wife Mary of Meade, WA, and Don Karr of Decatur; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, and one brother. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Liberty Village for all their care and compassion.
