I will remember Marie with the fondest of memories. As a young girl I spent a great deal of time at her home. She and the Mayor were friends with my parents and I with her children.
As I became a women, Marie gave me advise and her approval when I did things the way she suggested. I always told Marie that she was the "Classiest First Lady this town ever had" Marie holds a very special place in my heart and always will.
