Sorry to hear of dear Marie's passing. I have many fond memories, I grew up with the Messina kids. Marie and Joe were always welcoming to all their kids' friends. It was a very full house. Kathy and I were very mischievous and we tried their patience a lot. They were stern but loving. You could stay for dinner but you would also have to stay and say the rosary. As an adult, I loved to chat with Marie whenever I would run into her at Wegmans, out in her front yard, or at St. Cecilia's. ...

Marie and her family were neighbors for many years. I remember the day they moved in across the street. Marie was so very friendly and anxious to get to know all her neighbors. She was a lovely women. My sincere sympathy to Louie and Kathy and the whole family.
