Marie Pope

In my heart forever, I think of her every day and each day I remember something that makes me smile, Like the first day we were able to go out to eat after covid we were so happy to get back to normal and hugs each other like OMG so happy we made it we survived, the end of the world was over. She truly was an amazing friend in heaven Now. I love her and miss always.

Ms Pope had a big impact on me as a teenager. My memories of going through St Henry´s programs are inseparable from Ms Pope. She touched so many lives and had time and patience for everyone. Thank you Ms Pope for all you did. May you rest in peace.

Marie, I am so glad to have spent quality time with you last year. You were an awesome supervisor and always supported me. I will miss our phone conversations and will miss you dearly. My condolences to the family. RIP

Marie was truly a light and joy to be around, always bringing warmth, kindness, and inspiration to everyone she met, especially me from a young age. I am especially grateful for the beautiful memories she gave me through volunteer work at St. Henry´s church. Her presence will be greatly missed, but her spirit and love lingers in all of us. Marie, my CCD teacher, sponsor, and friend, you will be deeply missed, may you rest in peace.

There aren´t many more people as well known as Marie Pope in Bayonne...she will be sorely missed by so many in St Henry´s parish, especially the children...and my grandchildren, the Becker boys who adored her...May she Rest in Peace...
