Not sure what to say?

I feel very fortunate to have shared a small part of life with Marie. In three short years I saw Marie's love of life, her energy, her amazing talents and her eagerness to learn and experience new things. We shared our love of food, wine and dining. Marie, a gracious lady - you will be missed. Le bon Dieu avec toi.

My relationship with Marie began at Camp Firefly, a grief camp for children sponsored by Moorestwon VNA where we were co-counselors. I became close to her in a short time and was in contact with her frequently. During our brief time together we had many discussions about loss, mourning and death with our campers and amongst ourselves as we tried to help the children deal with their own losses. She was a woman of amazing strength and virtue. I can assure you that Marie was not afraid of dying....

To the Franzen family:
So sorry to hear about Marie. I just saw her on Christmas Eve and thought she looked wonderful. Know that my prayers are with you all.
Margie Scotti (Donna's sister)

Franzen Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Hopefully as each day goes by, it will become a little easier for you, especially when you remember all of the joyous and fun times you had with Marie. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless all of you during this time of sorrow and always.

It is with deep sadness that I learned of Marie's untimely death. I will always feel fortunate to have spent 4 years at The Mount with such a bright, kind and gracious classmate. Those fond memories of Marie will live on until we are hopefully all together once again at our Heavenly Reunion. Be assured of my prayers for all of you. Jane Wesner Nolen '67

Dear Bud and Beloved Family...Marie was a special spirit here on earth - I remember that smile - what warmth in that sweet face. It's a comfort to know that she is now with Billy and her Mom, and so many other precious family members. Prayers and love are with you!
