I know none of you know me but Mrs. Rankin taught me at Loris Grammer School when I was in the 5th grade. I remember her as being a wonderful lady and an excellent teacher. I loved her very much. My father died when I was ten and my mother re-married and we left Loris and moved to Socastee.

So sorry to hear about Mrs. Marie. She was a wonderful lady. She would occasionally bring Luke a tray of her famous cookies to the office, and he was kind enough to let us have a "taste" of them. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
