I always *loved* Marie. I used to BEG my mother to go to her house in Westwood. Ok, ok... IT WAS THE POOL. But I SERIOUSLY ALSO loved Aunt Marie! I was very sorry to hear of her passing. I know my dad had been trying to get her on the phone for a while now. I see from the obit that she was visiting cousin Susie in Florida. That would explain it! I can't tell how how it tugs at my heart to look at her picture. So...

My sympathy to the Reed family and all members of the Ash family I knew growing up in Quincy. Marie and I became friends again when I became a member of St.Denis parish. She will always be remembered as a lovely gracious person.
