Neighbors of Joe and Marie Reidy will truly miss the both of them dearly. I have fond memories of me going over just to sit and have conversation with Ms. Reidy over a period of nearly 30 years. Marie never forgot my childrens birthdays-each year there was a birthday card in the mailbox for both my children. She often told me of her children and grand-childrens accomplishments in life. I always made sure to listen carefully to hear her speak of them so proudly....

We have wonderful memories of Aunt Marie from the Reidy family visits to Houston... brisket smoking in the backyard, everyone sipping a cool drink, talking and laughing around the big oval dining table, Aunt Marie proudly telling us about her students...

Aunt Marie is forever in our hearts.

I have memories of my Aunt Marie from times we spent together on vacation - either my family visiting hers in Indiana, or hers visiting mine in Texas - many years ago when I was a kid. She was very fun and kind, sharing her peanut M&Ms. She was the first grown-up I knew who ate candy regularly like kids do. She was also very smart and creative. Pat, Dan and Barbara -
Please accept my condolences. I am sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Marie. I still remember a fun trip to y'all's house in Indiana and how much we enjoyed it when you guy's came to visit us in Texas. My Mom and Dad always enjoyed visiting with your folks, looked forward to it and talked about it for weeks afterwards.

Aunt Marie was lots of fun and I was always impressed that she was a teacher!

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Words cannot express your feelings at this time.
