I have become a big admirer because of Marie's book. As a matter of fact, the edition of the book I received came with a loose leaf personal letter from her to an artist she admired, asking for a review. Also included were a couple of loose leaf reviews, one typed and the other hand written. If any of her family would like to know of this, or request to see it, let me know.

I was a school chum of her daughter Ellen. When I was in high school cerca 1961, Marie asked me to sit for her. What an honor! Her son, Ron, found "my" portrait in a file of Marie's unfinshed, unsigned work. It will soon be in my possession... another honor!
