Marie Evelyn Rosenwasser

My heart aches to hear about Marie's passing. She hired me in 1992 as her assistant at Shoreline CC. I didn't know anything, so she taught me everything. I think of her often, her smile, her nodding head, her determination. My heartfelt condolences to Lee and Dara. May she rest in peace.

I ran across this beautiful pic of Dr R with an adorable snowy white pixie and her usual stylish frames. And now I find myself in tears because it accompanies an obituary. The world won´t be the same without that booming voice coming out of her tiny but mighty form. It took me years to figure out that she was ultimately one of the best bosses I could have ever had. So very sad to hear of Marie´s passing. A dynamic woman, great personality, little but mighty and a pleasure to be around. I will miss her.

I am very sad to learn of Marie´s passing. I worked closely with her at Cuesta College, and it was a privilege to know her. She was devoted to students, faculty, staff and the community. Marie was hardworking, kind, generous, a dynamic leader, and an agent of change. I was proud to work with her and call her my friend. Marie and I entered Cuesta College at the same time. We both went to Disney World for. CQIN conference our first summer. It was great to get to know her better in that trip. I always appreciated her leadership as a faculty member. I enjoyed seeing her from time to time after she retired. May she rest in peace. Marie Larsen
