Not sure what to say?

Our sympathies to Marie´s family on the loss of losing this remarkable woman. She started both of our children´s educational path and we are forever grateful for her patient and loving demeanor. I was just speaking of her fondly yesterday and then sadly found out about her passing. What a treasure she was!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Santelli was my sons kindergarten teacher 1994. She was always so gentle and loving to her students. I helped in her class often and grew to love her. She was such an inspiration and always kept her students thinking. Have very fond memories of my sons 1st year in school. Such a beautiful soul.

I just learned of Marie´s death, please accept my deepest sympathy I met Marie several years ago at the Y in the Silver Sneakers class. When she entered the gym, she was always a ray of sunshine! I loved talking with her, she was one of the most positive people I have had the good fortune to meet. May you rest in peace Marie and the world is a better place because of you.

I just found out this morning that my dear friend Marie passed away. Marie and I became friends years ago when we met at Silver Sneaker classes at the gym in Round Lake. She was a sweet, dear lady. We shared many fun times together talking about our lives, our families, our grandchildren. We often joked about which of the two of us would come into class the later one. She was so elated when the twin grandchildren were born, when she and Chuck purchased the condo in Florida. We discussed...

Marie, I can still see you sitting in your little rocking chair watching your favorite westerns in the early 1950´s. We had the best childhood! And the very best Mom & Dad. You´ll always be in my heart.

I had the pleasure of Marie being the kindergarten teacher for two of my children and I volunteered in her classroom. I was also a special ed aide in her classroom a few years later. She was such a kind-hearted person and was loved and respected by all who knew her. Her patriotism shone through in her classroom as she enthusiastically had the children march and sing, "It´s a Grand Old Flag." Her patience and warm smile was so welcoming, it was a privilege to be with her. My heartfelt...

My sympathies to the entire Santelli family. Marie was an incredible woman who was loved by all who knew her. I have so many fond memories of when our children were all young and spent so much time at the Santelli household, swimming in their pool and spending time at their camp. RIP my dear friend.

Marie was a wonderful person! Spent several years in our neighborhood taking walks with her and Sue Mattison. Chuck and Marie were wonderful and loving people. To her family, I´m so sorry you´ve lost her.

It was an honor to be an aide in Marie´s kindergarten classroom! She treated all of her students with love and kindness. She had the most infectious smile. Sending deepest sympathy to Chuck! She was a gem!
