Dear Leonard and Virginia, as teenagers me and my sisters were always at Marie's store on Greenwich Ave., usually buying ice cream or candy. I remember that she normally dressed in black and had the most beautiful hair. I'm glad she lived a long life and God bless all of the children she was fortunate to have. Sincerely, Betty Genovese, Myrtle Beach SC

Virginia, you may not remember me but I lived on Greenwich Avenue in the early 1960s. I remember your store and your beautiful mother. First time I ever bought a Ring Ding was at Flavorland. May your mother rest in peace. So sorry for your loss. Nancy Creech Carlucci
