Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Sherrard was my fourth grade teacher and fifth grade music teacher. She is the teacher that I remember the most through out all my school years. What I learned in her class has had the most impact on me stuff that I actually remember, especially the science experiments we did. She made learning fun and we were engaged in what we were learning. I have thought of Mrs. Sherrard often over the years. I am sorry to hera of her passing.

I had Ms Sherard for 4th, 5th and 6th grades. She shared with Ms Utz and tought the music. Remember it well. Think of them all often and remember how they helped form my young life! God Bless Her... Jim Fosdick, Topeka, KS Class of 71' Lundgren Elementary.

Out of all my school years, Mrs Sherrard was my favorite teacher. It was amazing how she could remember students names after they had been out of her class for years. Such a good person.

Mrs Sherard was my teacher at Lundgren, great teacher who cared for all of us. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I attended Oakland Grade School and Mrs. Sherrard was my 4th grade teacher. She always encouraged me. She was strict but in a very caring way. I feel blessed to have had her as a teacher. I look forward to seeing her in Heaven someday! Her family will be in my prayers.
With sympathy, Joyce Rentfro

I also attended Lundgren Grade School and had Mrs. Sherrard as a 4th grade teacher. I loved being in her music class as she was so upbeat. I would go home and teach my stuffed animals music because I wanted to be her. She still looks the same as I remember her. Memories are a wonderful thing.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time of sorrow. Mrs Sherard was my fourth grade teacher at Lundgren around 30 yrs ago and she was the best. Her singing and the books she would read us always made the day alittle brighter. She was a wonderful teacher and a great lady. She will be missed greatly.

My day always looked brighter after talking with Marie.
She was a very kind lady and she will be greatly missed. With sympathy,

Mrs. Sherrard was my 4th grade teacher in 1964/1965. She was a great teacher. She never assigned homework. Instead, she kept us at school until all of our assignments were complete and correct. My mother wondered at times if I'd ever get home. She was always kind and gentle and helpful. I had the pleasure of seeing her recently while she was in rehab and then again when she went into the hospital. We had great conversations about the school years. She remembered me and especially my twin...
