Read MoreMarie volunteered at Third Baptist Church as a receptionist for several years. During that time, she was like a 'second mom' to me during my own monther's illness and death. She was truly a wonderful person, and I'm certain that all who knew her have many fond memories.

Rick and I enjoyed Marie's company. She was always so nice to us and our children. Some of my best recipes came from her. Our sympathies go out to all the children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all of us on Earth and welcomed in Heaven.
