Not sure what to say?

I am so saddened to learn of Marie's passing. I met Marie last year at the Fife swimming pool; she welcomed me, and we ejoyed our M-W-F time in the pool together. I looked forward to many years of friendship, but I am thankful to have known her and I know she is at peace now with her husband now and her heavenly father. May your memories give you comfort in the days ahead. Lovingly, Nancy Schroeder

Dear Marie

You were more than my best friends mom, you were my mom too. You supported me when times were bleak and were there to celebrate the good times. Thank you for being a great mom. Love Sheila & Chris Smyre

Dearest Sister Marie, yes sister, you were truly my "soul" sister. We could
talk about anything and you knew more about me than anyone in my life. You knew my core. I will miss you, dear cousin, but you will always be in my heart and soul. Some day I hope to reunite with you for a quick swim, game of cards or a good laugh. You were always there for Ray and I and we hope to always be there for Beth and Joe. My dear friend, God Bless and always hold you in His beautiful arms.

In my 22 years working as music director at St Leo's I absolutely loved spending time with Marie who was always engaging and easily shared her bright smile and laughter. I was always impressed with how giving she was...whenever there were needs in the community she would be right there in the middle of it...doing what she could to help others. Marie will be greatly missed.

Dear Auntie,I will miss our 2 am talks. I will miss teasing you about politics. I am glad I knew you as an adult, you taught me so much about humility, kindness, loyalty, what it is to be truly Christian. You never gave up on people, you always had room in your home and your heart. I thank you for being there for me in difficult times with my Mom, and although your death was so sudden, I am grateful you didn't have to suffer the fate she did.You were both such independant ladies! And...

Mom:
I will miss you terribly. What will I do without you? I love you!! I know you are with Dad now, and that offers me some peace.

Mom:
I will miss you terribly. What will I do without you. I love you!! I know you are with Dad now and for that, I am at peace.

While saddened that my Aunt Marie has left us, and though I hadn't seen her for quite a few years till this past summer, I wasn't very much in touch with her day-to-day life. What I do know is, Marie loved my Uncle Joe with everything she had. For that reason Im happy for her as I know she is happy to be reunited with him. My heartfelt understanding goes to my cousins Joe and Beth, and to my Dad, whom I would also like to thank for making it possible for my kids and myself to see Aunt...

I was saddened to hear of Marie's sudden passing. We became acquainted while attending a grief support group after the loss of our respective husbands in October of 2004. She was a real source of strength for me. Marie gave me several special little gifts for various occasions and she always took care to pick out something she knew you would enjoy. One such gift was a little porcelain angel with a votive candle which I have displayed every Christmas and had just placed back in it's box...
