Read MoreI am so saddened to learn of Marie's passing. I met Marie last year at the Fife swimming pool; she welcomed me, and we ejoyed our M-W-F time in the pool together. I looked forward to many years of friendship, but I am thankful to have known her and I know she is at peace now with her husband now and her heavenly father. In my 22 years working as music director at St Leo's I absolutely loved spending time with Marie who was always engaging and easily shared her bright smile and laughter. I was always impressed with how giving she was...whenever there were needs in the community she would be right there in the middle of it...doing what she could to help others. Marie will be greatly missed.

While saddened that my Aunt Marie has left us, and though I hadn't seen her for quite a few years till this past summer, I wasn't very much in touch with her day-to-day life. I was saddened to hear of Marie's sudden passing. We became acquainted while attending a grief support group after the loss of our respective husbands in October of 2004. She was a real source of strength for me. Marie gave me several special little gifts for various occasions and she always took care to pick out something she knew you would enjoy. One such gift was a little porcelain angel with a votive candle which I have displayed every Christmas and had just placed back in it's box...
