Not sure what to say?

Marie, you were a friend of my mother, Katie Garvey, and our neighbor, Mickey Milbach. I didn't know you were related to Mrs. Eggers until reading your obituary today. When I was a lonely child and you were a young architect, you took me to your home for an overnight visit from time to time. I especially remember playing with your new kitten. Later, after you married Bob but before you had children, you invited me to spend the night on your couch at the farm. At the time, you were making...

Your Mom was always known to me as Reetzie. She and my mom, Fan, were lifelong friends in Appleton. I still recall Reetzie's home on Elm St, next to the convent and St. Joe's School. One of the things I recall best about Reetzie was her WHISTLE. It was sharp and attention-getting! I am so sorry for your loss, which happened almost a year ago; I just now learned of her passing.

Marie was a caring, cheerful friend. I met her at a time when she had discovered an overload of clothing. She was my neighbor's aunt so reached out to see if she could be of any assistance to me in this area. I will never be able to thank her enough! We, also, shared the love of knitting needles. Marie was a very talented lady. I will miss her smiling face and gentle ways of sharing herself and her ideas. My condolences to her family. You now have a big part of Heaven looking down on you. I...

Greta, Kurt and Tom, I just found out about the passing of your Mom. I wanted to send my condolences. Your mom was a hoot! I always enjoyed talking with her and her unique approach to life. No words seem adequate at a time like this. I just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you all.

My deep condolences to Marie's family. It has been my pleasure over the years to know and play bridge with Marie. I especially appreciated Marie's intelligence and incisive sense of humor. She will be missed by all who knew her.

We deeply regret your lose. I really enjoyed having Marie in my Strong Bones Class at the Kaukauna Town Hall. She was a delight and inspiration.

We will miss working with Marie. She was very charming and a lot of fun. I especially will miss the long talks about family history and mutual friends. Love and Peace. Dan & Pat Bacon

I will miss everything about Marie. She was a cheerful, wonderful friend, intelligent beyond words, willing to contribute no matter the task and we will miss her dearly.
