I am Libby Tisdell, writing from Harrisburg, PA. I had the pleasure of working with Sr. Marie and being mentored by her when I was a student and then a peer minister at the University of Maine, some 30 years ago. I'm SO sorry to hear of her passing. She was one of the great mentors of my life, which led me to pursue a master's degree in religion and my own career in ministry.

My heartfelt condolances to the family. I have known Marie for many, many years. Most recently, I was privileged to work in the same space as she did here in Gloucester. She was kind to people who came for help -- these were the most vulnerable in our Gloucester community. She had many, many gifts. Best of all, she was a lover of life and she struggled to maintain it healthily. I will miss her. She truly reflected "How good the good God is." Marie, PRESENTE!
