Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Mariellas passing, and I am absolutely crushed. We were classmates at the UMKC Conservatory of Music. She was very funny and had so much spunk! She had a wonderful voice and her senior recital was incredibly inspiring for me! I have thought of Mariella often over the last 25+ years, and I am just heartbroken. Condolences to her family, friends and colleagues. I know your loss is tremendous! RIP Mariella. Sing with the Angels!

I have tried to write this message for two days. Words seem so inadequate at this time. Mariella and I had fun working together in high school, swapping stories as new teachers, planning weddings, having kids, and building houses. My heart goes out to Mike and the boys as well as Cathy and Ken. Please know that I have been thinking of you all constantly. Love and peace.

Mariella was such a strong, quiet beauty. A force of nature and determination. I went to high school with her and had several classes together throughout the years. Best known in many circles for being the host sister to Jorun; and the daughter of hilarious parents, Ken and Cathy. Mariella's enduring spirit will be missed; I for one am better for knowing her. Prayers of peace and love to her family and close friends.

Mariella was a dear colleague and friend at JCCC. She is already sorely missed by students and coworkers alike.

Mariella's creativity in the classroom and her joy of teaching will be missed by many. Words fail to express what her loss means to the JCCC community, and my heart goes out to her family and friends.

Sorry for your loss, Condolences is to the Rainwater family at this time from the Helle's. Carol, Dale, Grace and Garrett
