Marietta Jonas Jayne

Peace to Marietta's family! We bought the Jayne home on August 15 in 1979. We enjoyed raising our two girls there (one was another Katie) as well. We were active at the First Christian Church and saw her often. We sold the house at 801 E. Line exactly 30 yrs to the day, on August 15, 2009. Katie's family prompted our move to Leawood, Ks. A lady who will long be remembered by those who knew and loved her. She was a wonderful friend to my Mom and was always there when I needed her as I thought of her as a second Mom to me. May all she meant to the family and to those who knew her give peace and comfort in the days and years to come. She was a pillar in the Kirksville community and well deserved her rewards in heaven. All my love to her beautiful family who are a true legacy of a life well lived.
