Not sure what to say?

Marilyn and I were sister-in-laws. However, geographical distance kept us apart most of our lives. We lived in different parts of the country, I in Texas and she in Pennsylvania. However, we kept in touch by telephone and we reconnected at family affairs. Our favorite subject were always the children and their achievements.

Marilyn always greeted me with a smile. She was soft spoken and very entertaining with her stories she told. I am glad I had the opportunity to visit with her and share in laughter the Thursday before she passed away. You will be missed. Rest in peace.

Marilyn will always be remembered for her quiet and gentle ways, her quick wit, and, above all, her genuine caring about the children in our school. She was a person whom I feel privileged to have known. We will all miss her greatly.

Thank you to all of my mother's friends who meant so much to her. She loved you all dearly. My mom was a beautiful wonderful woman who touched many people, and who was touched in turn by the kindness of so many. I'll love you and miss you mom, and you'll be in my heart forever.

My best friend of 17 years is gone from this earth, but will be carried in my heart always. Rest peacefully and in harmony in your beloved home of Hamilton with your beautiful mountains around you. Know that you will be thought of always with thanks for your steady and quiet wisdom, your constant support and love. With special best love to my dear, dear friend. Susan
