Thinking of Marilyn this weekend, as I have been so often since her diagnosis. She was a truly genuine person, caring and generous to a fault, which to her was the only way to be with family and friends. Once she met you, you became family to her and everyone was a friend. We are all the better because we knew her. She found joy in everything around her and I hope we can all carry on that spirit.

Marilyn was a special cousin who I looked up to. While growing up, she always made a point of talking with me and making me feel important. Being 7 years younger, that meant a lot to me! I named my paper dolls Marilyn because I liked her so much. She always had a warm smile and hug for everyone, no matter what she was going through. Our sympathy to the family,, you are going to miss her light! May God hold you all close,, and remember all the good times!! I'm sorry we won't make the...

Marilyn was truly a beautiful person --- so full of life and always sweet. She suffered so much with that horrible cancer and I pray she is resting peacefully now. I'll miss seeing her at the reunions. I'm sorry I won't be able to be at the memorial but I'll be thinking of all of you and send my love.
