BAKER, Marilyn Ruth – Of Grand Blanc, age 86, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at her residence.


Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.


Marilyn wants people to come as they are.


Burial in Bristol Cemetery.


Visitation 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.


Marilyn was born in Flint, Michigan on April 28, 1935, the daughter of the late Samuel and Verna (Clarke) Innis.


On July 1, 1972 she married McKenna Baker Sr. at Bristol United Methodist Church.


She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting and taking day trips with her daughter.


Surviving are sons, James and wife Debi Hatfield, Glenn and wife Bridget Hatfield, Mark and wife Sharon Hatfield, McKenna Jr. and wife Shannon Baker;


daughter, Lori and husband David VanConant;


many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and many friends.


She was preceded in death by her husband, McKenna Baker, Sr.; parents; 3 sisters and niece, Karen.
