Marilyn Butler a loving and caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend passed away on Dec. 17, 2014 Marilyn fought a courageous battle with cancer, but was called home with her family at her bedside.
Marilyn was born on Nov. 24, 1938 to Robert and Arnita Selby in Philadelphia, PA. She was married to Arnold P. Butler on July 11, 1957 in Philadelphia, PA. and to that union 3 children were born. She enjoyed helping others, playing her favorite game, Bingo, and maintaining a healthy and loving household.
She resided in Colorado Springs for 36 years and enjoyed traveling in the United States and also to Korea, Germany and Japan.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Arnold butler, her daughters; Artries and Denise Butler and her son, Brian Butler.
Her husband shares: So kiss and rejoice with all family and friends who have preceded you, and give them our love. When you're done find a heavenly mirror so that you can bask in your reflection, because in our recollection you are Beautiful.
A memorial service will be held at Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors, 1104 S. Circle Dr. on Saturday February 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm. A Repast will follow in the reception hall at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer society.
