Marilyn Cohn

Everyone loved Marilyn. She liked to keep in touch and would call me often to catch up. She was a true friend. Marilyn was a kind and loving soul. We miss you.

Marilyn and I were classmates at East High. We reconnected later in life through Facebook. She was always so kind and considerate ...always with a smile. She will be missed.

Sheila, you captures all the memories I also have of Marilyn ! In Hebrew School we would sit together and draw ! She was a gifted "artist"! (Who had time to learn Hebrew when I could learn the art of drawing from Marilyn) She was indeed a gentle, kind, soul always concerned about others. May she Rest In Peace knowing she will be missed. I was so sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing. Growing up together in the Rockford Jewish community, we shared many experiences together. This included Day Camp at the JCC, Hebrew School with Rabbi Schwartz, and Sunday School at Ohave Sholom. We were in East High School Class of '63 together, too. Our most important interaction was, however, being together in BBYO, where we worked together in very many and varied capacities.
