To me she was just "Grandma". Such a simple two syllable collection of letters, but with such great and complex meaning and emotion.

She always demonstrated the true meaning of the phrase "live each day to the fullest", and possessed the most genuine smile I've ever known. The memories created during her life will touch all those who knew her until our spirits meet again.

Your parents were special people to us, as were all the folks at Vernon. We are truly sorry that we cannot be there in person to mourn with you, but our tears are shed with yours as we will truly miss Marilyn. God blessed us with her person and presence here on earth and God will bless her with her presence in heaven.
