DAHL, Marilyn K. - Of Grand Blanc, age 70, died Friday, January 22, 2010 at her residence, after a long battle with breast cancer. Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Brian Stogner officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer or Bristol Road Church of Christ. Visitation 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Marilyn was born in Jackson, Michigan on July 12, 1939 and was a resident of Grand Blanc all of her life. She married Ronald Dahl on August 22, 1959. She was a member of Bristol Road Church of Christ. Mrs. Dahl was employed by Grand Blanc Middle School for over 25 years as a cafeteria worker. Surviving are husband, Ronald; daughters, Deanna and husband Mark Ashlock, Lynn and husband Chris Ramm; six grandchildren, Abigail, Samantha and Lillian Ashlock, Zachary, Kenneth and Hayden Ramm; one great-grandson, Draven Ramm; one brother, Robert and wife Gloria Belford; sister-in-law, Carol Belford; aunt, Virginia Belford; special son, David Brink and longtime special friend, Deanna Brink. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald David Dahl, Jr.; parents; brother, George Belford and uncle, Hugh. Your condolences may be shared with the family at
