Marilyn Engman

So many memories of wonderful times in Eagle River. Bill and lovely Marilyn were always wonderfully welcoming hosts, no matter how many children I happened to have beside me. David and Bill, my deepest sympathy to you both!

I can't even count how many times that Mrs. Engman had taken me into their home. She fed us and made sure we were safe and had fun. The cottage on Wooded Lane was a home for all through her and Mr. Engman's kindness. She will be missed. Her legacy will continue. My thoughts and prayers are with Dave and Bill and their families.

A gem of a woman. It was a privilege to know her and experience some of the best home cooking the northwoods can offer. And thank you for raising two wonderful sons who helped shape the man I have become today. Years ago they were my mentor and, although distances are great today, I consider them some of my most trusted friends. Thank you, Marilyn!
