If I could use only on word to describe Marilyn, it would be faithful. She was a dear friend to Dorothy Hockett, my mom. Every day those two ladies conversed with each other; they attended church together and often went out to lunch. Even after Dorothy moved to Mansfield to live with me, calls from Marilyn continued daily. She even drove to Mansfield to see Mom.
