My deepest sympathy to the family of Marilyn Herbert. She was a colleague of mine at griswold high school. We always enjoyed our luncheons in the summer when we would all get together to see each other. She was a lovely lady and she will be missed. My sincere condolences. Patti Whitford

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Marilyn. I have fond memories of growing up next door , with many hours of games, snow sledding, swimming at Wyassup Lake and many family picnics. One of my fondness memories is of Marilyn trying to teach me to row a boat, all I ever accomplished was rowing in circles, not due to the teachers failure but my own failure. Marilyn will surely be missed by her family. Sincerely, Meredith Bromley Pappadia

Sending heartfelt condolences to Marilyn's family. I worked with Marilyn at Griswold High and she was a friendly and efficient teacher and mentor. She was always willing to go to workshops to learn new things in our community and to go the extra mile for her students' educational experience without "...doing for them what they should be doing for themselves..."
