Marilyn Johnson was born June 22, 1963 to Hunter and Mary Lou Hight in American Fork, Utah. She passed away June 14, 2022 peacefully at her home surrounded by family. She enjoyed cooking, camping, rock hunting, and spending time outdoors. She loved nature and nature loved her back. She is preceded in death by her parents; several cousins, aunts and uncles; grandson, Cpl. Andy Orozco of the United States Marine Corps who was waiting to escort her through the gates of Heaven and into the loving arms of her parents.


Marilyn enjoyed traveling with the love of her life her husband of 42 years Roy Johnson. She was a wonderful stepmother to Roy’s daughter Shannon Stec (Brad) and together they had 3 wonderful boys Kristopher (Jill), Cody and Cory. Marilyn was blessed with 9 grandchildren, CJ, Andy, Colby, Nate, Olivia, Rebecka, Serra, Emily and Liliana. She loved being their “MeeMaw. Seven siblings, Kathryn (Richard), Diane, Leonard (Connie), Lynn, Virgina (Archie), Richard (Sheryl), Sheri (Chris) and countless nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. We love you to the moon and back.


Graveside service will be 10:00AM Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Camden, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The service can be viewed on zoom Meeting ID 814 2939 0545 Passcode 1868.
