Not sure what to say?

There was never a better friend than Marilyn. From my moving next door to the Joneses in 1986, Marilyn and Wesley were my staunch allies, supporters and guides. Marilyn accepted the differences between us with loving interest, and taught me to do the same. She was always learning and opening to life, and translated her faith into hard work and commitment to her family, friends, and community efforts. Through the years her great sense of fun and humor, style and youthfulness brightened the...

Marilyn held a special place in our lives and will always hold a special place in our hearts. She was my mother's (Sally Armstrong) next store neighbor for years and they took walks every morning at 6:30 am. She reached out in times of need like sending a ham when my grandfather passed away. She never forgot our 9 year old son Teddy's birthday, and she and Teddy had a traditional of exchanging Valentines. Teddy also loved the pond Wesley made in their backyard from a natural spring there...

Marilyn was indeed a grand lady! I close my eyes and always see her smiling. She was one of the first women to befriend me at All Saints back in 1985. She always treated others so well that you felt as though she really could find the Christ in everyone! Marilyn loved the arts, speaking from the heart, integrity, and embraced diversity. She always encouraged me to ask questions at Bible study (1990s) that ordinarily I would never have thought to share. She encouraged so many to come out...

Marilyn Jones, (Aunt Dink too me), has been my earthbound angel. She changed my life by exposing me to the arts.
She introduced me to poetry, architecture and most importantly: how to be a good human being. I will be seeing you, w/ Wesley, Mctavish, and my Bear.
I know tonight that Dink and Wesley are dancing in the heavens, making it shine just a little brighter...I miss you, & I am lovin' you.......

Many years ago I was privileged to be a frequent guest in Dink and Marianne's home. There could never be a more gracious and selfless lady.

We are saddened by the passage of Cousin Marilyn. She and Wesley came by my place in Ga in the earlyi 1990, which is where her Mother and Grandfather was born.

A very dear lady.

I had the pleasure of meeting Marilyn and John Wesley when they moved to Fort Worth in the early 1980s, they started out as customers at ReCept Pharmacy (formerly Plaza Pharmacy) where I work. We became fast friends, that friendship continued all these years. She was always so sweet and such a grand lady. We will miss her deeply. I was honored to call her my friend.
