Marilyn D. Kinelski

She was my teacher for several years at ELS. She was a sweet classy lady.

As a teenager I loved spending time in Marilyn´s home with our group of friends. We were all always welcomed with her beautiful smile, tons of laughter, and maybe even a song on the piano. She was such an important part of my childhood. She treated all of us like we were her own children and part of the family. I have the most beautiful memories of our time spent together and many many hours at church and in their home. As an adult I realize now how much she´s impacted me and the way I live...

I remember Marilyn welcoming me to join her family on a trip to San Francisco in the 1990s when her son and I were best friends. She was the kindest, most approachable person. She was supportive of Rob and our whole group of grungy teenagers. When I remember her face I remember a smile. Always smiled.

Marilyn was a force on her own! She was always ready to share a smile and a new joke! I have known Marilyn for over 30 years. First through our workplace and as a caring friend. She loved her Ken, her son, daughter in law and especially her beautiful grandchildren. Rest in peace our dear friend, love you , Elsa
