Read MoreJust heard about Marilyn's death. Although I have not seen her since school days, we were bosom buddies in elementary shool. I went to her house on West 112 after school almost every night. I lived on West 110 Street. She was an artist and we worked together on art projects. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

When I think of Marilyn, I will always remeber 3 things: Playing on the beach in Waikiki.....her fondness for noisy pots and pans "clanging" together......and the 3 amazing sons she and Neil raised. God Bless.

Marilyn was my friend for over 60 years, plus a great Sister-in-law. I have so many treasured memories that will keep her alive in my heart. She was a great mother, and I thank the Lord He took her peacefully.
