Marilyn Martin Maples

I first knew Marilyn in 6th grade at Our Lady of the Valley, a parochial school in Canoga Park, CA. Even then we knew she would become a nun someday. She projected a saintly aura that was extraordinary. We all loved her for her gentleness and warmth as well as her luminous beauty, and we mourn her passing. Marilyn was a dear friend. We attended high school together. We have kept in contact all these years. She was always very caring and thoughtful. She was an example of how to live life in the presence of God. Another friend and I visited Marilyn in Mount Angel several years ago. That was the last time I saw her. She will be missed. I believe I have a friend in Heaven who I can ask to intercede for me.
