Not sure what to say?

Damon,

I am the daughter of Marjorie Roberts from Belleville---we have known your family from the time my worked for your parents in the Huron Towers with your mom. Mom helping your mom give you your first bath along with so many more wonderful memories with your family. My dad hired your dad in the early 60's.....Dad worked for Zantop......they shared such a love of flying......

Was so sad to hear of your loss............Your mom was bigger than life but you certainly know...

Damon and David,
The memories that your mom/grandma left you with will last a lifetime. She and her sisters, along with their older brother, left us a legacy that I wouldn't trade for anything.
Yes, we worked, and we worked and we worked.
These special ladies gave us our character.
I remember your mom laughing when several nephews put your parent's car between two trees in the middle of a pile of snow at Grandpa and Grandma Hawkins' one Christmas.
She was a loving and caring...

When someone you love becomes a memory the memory becomes a treasure. May your wonderful treasures fill your heart with love and bring you peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Hosea 13:14

I was an undergrad at Michigan in the mid 60's. Marilyn always gave me excellent haircuts at her Church Street salon. I followed her after I graduated and stayed in Ann Arbor, and she moved to Huron Towers. She was such a lovely woman, and I always enjoyed her warmth and interest in what was going on in my life. I have thought about her over the years.

May her memory be a blessing.
Linda Johnson

I worked with Marilyn, at her church street salon in the early 60's...I so admired Marilyn for her styling abilities, and her business ethics. I learned so much from her, Marilyn was a hard worker, and will be remembered by the many stylist, who became great stylist because of her.

My sincere regards to the family.

On Sietz Drive we'd visit,
Fishing, birds and frogs,
Brown Honda Civic,
And those big Mastiff Dogs.

I will always remember,
Your energy and drive for life,
Work, work, work,
A super aunt, g-ma, mother and wife.

You'd come back to Brethren,
Christmas at Anna & Bill's,
You brought extra life to the party,
As we were crowded to the windowsills.

Rest in peace Aunt Marilyn,
Keep that hair styled in the sky,
We love you and miss you,
To those...

Damon, We were so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Your Mom & Dad had always welcomed us into their home for visits many times over the 27 years as your neighbor! Please accept our deepest sympathy! Our thoughts and prayers are with you & your family.

Damon:

I'm so sorry to learn of the passing of your Mom. I will always remember the time we spent with both of your parents in Omaha for Chris and Mary's wedding. She had a very warm, engaging personality. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry to learn of Marilyn's passing! Years ago we were very close to Marilyn & Dave. They were a major twosome within our family! Marilyn adored my son and she would often take him in her little sporty convertible; everyone thot he was her son and she loved that...we always knew they wanted a child so years later, they did just that. We have fond memories of our wonderful, very fun, times together. Marilyn had a delightful sparkle about her and I know her family will miss her,...
