Not sure what to say?

Even in college, Marilyn seemed to do everything well and she was always a ray of sunshine. She was a treasured friend then and throughout our lives, and we always delighted in a visit from her and Duane wherever we moved. I never knew her as Lynn....it was always Marilyn in college.

At the University of Dubuque, Marilyn lived for at least one year at the president's home, where she assisted in many areas. When she graduated a year before me, I was asked to take her place. I...

This is well after the fact, but I just now learned of Marilyn's death. We always exchanged Christmas cards with Lynn and Duane, and continued with Lynn, and I had a bad feeling as we were addressing envelopes this year, so I googled Marilyn and was shocked and saddened to read her obituary.

Marilyn was a very special lady, an outstanding human being, and a great friend! I always admired and respected her and her many talents. I remember that she lived at the president's home,...

Mrs Meyer was a most gracious and kind lady. She opened her heart and home to people of all backgrounds. I most enjoyed our many text messages, telephone conversations and written correspondence. A special place will always be held in my heart for her. With the utmost respect I say she set many lives on course for success.

Sincerely;

Sad to hear of her passing. She was a gracious lady and mother. Always made you feel welcome to be in their home. Even with being married to the president of SMS she opened her life to friends and family and made them feel special. Fond memories of playing Baccaruda basketball and going to Bear basketball games with Jim and being in school at Greenwood with Jim, Paul, and Mark. So sorry for your loss. She will truly be missed by so many.

This beautiful lady and person was a blessing to so many. It was a privilege to know her. Prayers and blessings.

She was truly a beautiful person. My love and heartfelt support goes to her friends and family.

What a great and honorable woman of God, Mrs. Lyn Meyer was. I never had the opportunity to meet her personally, but her legacy precedes her. Working with her son Jim and the law firm allows me to see the Seeds of Greatness that she planted in her family. Just wanted to honor her for touching the lives of many people for years to come. My sincerest Condolences are extended to this family. May you rest in knowing the the Lord's gifts were used, multiplied and transformed many lives...
