Not sure what to say?

My dearest Aunt Marilyn, I have so many fond memories, I´m so very sad that I didn´t get a chance to share a proper farewell but just know how proud I was to have called you my Aunt. You were an amazing woman, and a beautiful soul. It goes without saying that you were a great Mom, sister, daughter and friend to so many. I love you and will miss you forever! All my love, Michael

I attended her wedding with my husband (deceased Hank Leibold , former custodian at Charles Mooney Jr Hi, when Marilyn was employed there as a teacher.

A true gem of a woman. Her son, Mike, is one of my best friends from my St. Ignatius days. God love a woman who tolerated dozens of mischievous high schoolers hanging out on her front porch on a Friday night. Go easy mama Bear!

My most heartfelt condolences to the Petryshyn family. I was fortunate to have Mrs. Petryshyn for social studies at Charles Mooney in the last half of the `60´s. She was very popular among the students that were lucky to have her as a teacher.

Thinking of Marilyn and all of the family. Our deepest condolences and love.

The Petryshyn house was a second home to me growing up. Mom Petryshyn's kindness and patience with a group of loud, annoying teenage girls was truly amazing. I'm so thankful to have known her. My deepest condolences to the family.

Marilyn was an outstanding Bridge player. She enjoyed playing bridge and also all the many friends she made throughout all the years. She was an excellent cook and prepared so many ethnic favorites for our many get togethers. I have so many wonderful memories of this wonderful, generous and kind woman throughout our twenty plus years of friendship. You'll be missed my special friend. See you in heaven my dear friend. Love, Marlene

I fondly remember your mother as my 7th and 8th grade Social Studies teacher at Mooney Junior High in the late 60's. She made learning interesting with her enthusiastic and innovative style and cared very much for her students. My deepest sympathies to all of you on your loss.

I taught with your Mom at Middle College for several years. She was an outstanding and creative teacher. I´m so sorry for your loss. Jane Donovan
