Not sure what to say?

Whenever I saw Marilyn & Bob, they always smiled and greeted me with the same question, "How is our favorite nonprofit doing?" The Civics Learning Project community is so incredibly saddened by Marilyn's passing. She was a pioneer who left an incredible legacy for civics education in Oregon.

I remember Marilyn as a smart, kind and energetic woman who helped get the Oregon Law-related Education Project off the ground. She helped us launch the LEXPress newsletter in particular. She and Bob were role models to me in many ways.

So sad to read of Marilyn's passing. I remember our family outings with the Ridgleys as I grew up, mostly camping and spending time at Salishan. As a child I admired her wit, intelligence and incredible capabilities. My very best to Bob and the boys and to all who knew and loved her. Carolyn Myers Lindberg

Our hearts and prayers are with all of you. We ae Ridgley relatives and met Marilyn and Bob when we moved to Portland. Marilyn was a lovely person. We are so sorry for your loss. We are thinking about all of you. With sympathy, Kim Beamer Olsoni and Karl Olsoni
