Marilyn Jean Rooney

My family met Marilyn when our mother moved in to Lakewood. She was so sweet and helped mom feel comfortable and at home there. She always had a big smile for everyone and we will miss seeing her.

My prayers are with the family at this time of mixed sorrow and joy. Sorrow that a very special part of your lives has departed the earth--and joy that she leaves so many cherished memories and a legacy of love for God and family. I had opportunity to enjoy Marilyn's sweet smile and her gracious demeanor while she resided at The Waterford. It was always a joy to see her enter for the Sunday afternoon service and share her smile with all those around.
