Read MoreIt doesn't seem like two years have passed since Marilyn left us. I miss our Canasta card games with Mabel and Barbara. The good ole days are gone. Marilyn and Bill were good neighbors in Glenview and they were responsible for me coming to live in Saddlebrook. May God bless them both.

Marilyn and Bill were my next door neighbors for many years! I consider myself fortunate to have known them. Marilyn was a singer and had a beautiful voice and I have many happy memories of the Schauer family. God bless, you are with the angels.

My first memory as a child was Aunt Marilyn's amazing cooking. I'm picturing their house in Glenview, but I'm guessing it may have actually been at an earlier dining table. Those memories with Uncle Bill, Aunt Marilyn, and my cousins live on.

I first met The Schauer Family when they moved on the same block in Glenview in the early 60´s. We shared many memories - John (my son) and Michael playing, our husbands talking shop in the garage, sharing recipes. Marilyn´s deep faith was challenged many times, but she always knew life was good and lived a beautiful life. Cards, friends and family were closest to her heart. I will miss her.
