Marilyn was born on May 10, 1935, in Chicago, IL, to Agnes and Ward Calonder. She married Harold Dillon, Jr. in August 1958. In 1975, Marilyn met and married Thomas Stack, Jr.

Surviving are four children, Doreen (Ron) Bieser of Mokena, IL. Peg (John) Maher of Rochelle, IL., Jo Baracani of Staunton, IL. and Christopher (Dawn) of Loda, IL; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and sister Betty Hansen of Lisle, IL.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harold, her husband, Tom, her son, Dennis Dillon, her grandson, Dominic Baracani and her two brothers, Earl and Ward.

Marilyn and Tom moved to Loda in 1987. She worked for the Health Department as a CNA, later heading up the SHIP Program, assisting seniors in both Iroquois and Ford County.

Marilyn’s favorite pastimes were Bingo nights, reading novels and she also loved to explore the antique shops and tea rooms in the surrounding areas with her friends.

Marilyn’s last residence was at Accolade of Paxton, where she was loved and cared for by the outstanding staff. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for the care that was shown to her each and every day.

Marilyn’s wishes were to have a private celebration of life.
