To my family and friends of Marilyn. I want to send my sincere sympathy and love to you all.
I was sad to hear of Marilyn's passing. Marilyn was an amazing woman and she will certainly be missed by all who knew her. I know my mother (Maxine Bell) was very fond of Marilyn. The last time we saw her was at Monte's
funeral and celebration of life. That was a very sad time for sure.
I just wanted to express my deepest sympathy to all my cousins and know I'm thinking about you all...

I helped Marilyn Strauss write her last public speech.

She just needed help with her printer.

But as I was reading it ... I asked her if she would like help editing.

I spent 30 minutes with her as she told me word for word what she would like to say.

I read it back to her and edited it until it was just how she wanted it.

I want to thank Marilyn Strauss for bringing free Shakespeare to Kansas City. When I first became aware of the offering in the 1990's I was thrilled, and I took my family to see a performance. I think (memory may fail) it was All's Well That Ends Well. I could be wrong. but Betsy Robbins was in it and the night was magical and my family had such a good time.

The Shakespeare festival is such a gift to the community and we have Marilyn Strauss in large part to thank for it. So,...
