Marilyn Thysell

Marilyn used her Russian/German heritage to the best of her ability and for the benefit of all who knew her and for the many service projects she entered. She was a true historian for the CHS Class of '62 and her family. There were hundreds of stories she shared lighting up a room with smiles or praising good deeds of others. Many were recorded but the most memorable were those she told in person. One story would lead to another and before long, Marilyn had included everyone within ear shot...

Marilyn cared about her classmates to the extent of clipping and scrapbooking their special events throught her life. She always served on all of the class reunion committees and will be greatly missed!

Marilyn and I were neighbors on Flowery Divide. Our parents were good friends annd neighbors. Our families went fishing together in Puget Sound. I remember that Marilyn and I each held up fish that were practically as big as we were! We walked back-and-forth to the bus together and were in a bluebird group with other classmates. Marilyn was particularly devoted to keeping our 1962 class in touch with each other, and was a key organizer for several class reunions.
