I remember the very first day Marilyn started art class with Sherry Nelson at Medallion Art School. She sat next to me and was incredibly chatty and friendly. She told me all about how she loved to travel and read and her friend with whom she traveled. I was impressed by her energy and love for learning. I knew Marilyn for probably 8 years and I grew to truly love her sassy personality. She had many opinions and had tremendous confidence in her opinions and she also had a sweet side. ...

Marilyn joined my art class 10 years ago. Over the years she grew to become quite an accomplished painter. I and all of her artist friends are heartbroken. She has left a hole in our hearts.
