Marilyn was my attorney during a difficult time. She was intelligent, compassionate, and determined on my behalf. This morning I thought about her strongly, not remembering the date of her death, then this afternoon I opened the email concerning the anniversary of her death. I love coincidences, or whatever it is.

My family is saddened to learn of Marilyn's passing. She was so very kind to us especially to my son, David. She gave David his first job mowing the grass at her Broomfield office when he was only 9 years old. She was a super nice boss and I was sorry that we were only able to work together for two years before she retired. We love you Marilyn and will miss you.

I have found out that my dear friend, Vonnie has passed away. It saddened me to hear about it. She was such a great person to know. She will be missed by all, but her memories will live on in our hearts. I am proud to have known her.

Carrie, Connie, Frank and Marilyn, I just found out about Marilyn by looking in the obituaries...I am so saddened to hear that she passed away without my being able to see her first. She and I went to lunch, as we always did, before Christmas last year. I've been meaning to call her for months now. I worked for Marilyn 1996-1998 in her office in Broomfield and we stayed friends long after I quit. Today is a very sad day for me. Chris Kaiser

I am very sorry I was unable to attend the funeral due to a very bad storm. I knew Vonnie for almost 40 years and so appreciated her love and kindness. She fought a lifelong battle with a debilitating and terrible disease and still managed to get her law degree and practice for many years. She also, was my great horse friend, making it possible for me and many others to have their dreams of the beautiful Arabian Horse. Her recommendation help me get a job I loved at the Arabian Horse...

Vonnie was a friend to me for almost 40 years. We loved horses together, ministered to pets, and worked on legal cases, I as her paralegal. How sad my heart is today. But how we laughed at "The Case of the Raging Bull" and "The Voodoo Doctor." When Carrie and Hugh married, we decided to be sisters as we couldn't figure out how her niece and my son made us shirt-tail relatives. We ate Chinese whenever possible and sat on her bed through cold and snowy nights watching a barn video and...
