Marilyn S. (Kemp) Yoder, of Nappanee, age 64 years, 6 months, 27 days, passed away peacefully at 12:08 p.m., on April 25, 2024, from neck injuries resulting from a fall. She was born on September 29, 1959 to Daniel E. and Clara Mae (Miller) Kemp. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. On November 14, 1979 she married Richard L. Yoder. They lived in Holy Matrimony, 44 years, 5 months, 11 days. To this union were born 6 children, Velda (Toby) Troyer, Clara (Joseph) Borkholder, both of Nappanee, Dana (Sarah) Yoder, of Milford, John (Wilma) Yoder, of Goshen, Darleen (Lyle) Miller, of Ligonier, James (Makayla) Yoder, of Milford; 32 grandchildren; siblings, Arlene (Walter) Schwartz, of Etna Green, Marvin (Loretta) Kemp, Harvey (Barbara) Kemp, Eva Burkholder, Wilma Mast, Raymond (Judy) Kemp, Melvin (Gayle) Kemp, all of Nappanee; sister-in-law, Sarah (Atlee) Stutzman, of Jamesport, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; In-laws, Levi and Susan (Frye) Yoder; brother, Eldon Kemp; 2 brother-in-law’s, Walter Jr. Burkholder, Tim Mast; a sister-in-law, Fannie Yoder and 2 nephews. Visitation will be after 3 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2024 and all day Saturday, April 27th at the family residence (8232 W 1050 N, Nappanee). Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, April 28th at the Elmer Miller Residence (7655 W 1050 N, Nappanee). Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Graber cemetery. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
