Our heartfelt condolences to you and yours. Marilyn was such an integral part of our Hazel street family, the Carroll kids second mom and a warm and loving presence. May you find peace and comfort in this time of sorrow.

May you find comfort in your sweet memories and strength through your faith.

Bob, Scott, Dan, Denise and your families~~There are no words to say how saddened I am by Marilyn's passing. She was and always will be very special to me. She was a most beautiful woman, inside and out and she loved with the most generous heart. She was so proud of all of you. Unfortunately I am still in Florida and will not be able to celebrate her life with you. However, my thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through the next days, weeks and months.

My most heartfelt sympathies to all the Young family. I didn't know Marilyn personally, but I do know she sent wonderful people into the world in the form of her son,Scott, and her grandchildren, Bobby, Michael, and Brian. She must have been a special person, and I am tremendously sorry for your loss. I pray for comfort and peace for the entire family. My intention was to come to the funeral home, but events have prevented it, and I apologize for not being able to be there in person.

Marilyn was a wonderful neighbor during our time on Hazel St. and a devoted friend to my mother, Carol Quinn-Portenier. I cannot say "thank you" enough for her many acts of kindness. Rest in peace sweet angel!
